On Dutch Cowboys Eduard posted a picture today which speaks for itself. The website E-marketer researched Social Media and shopping behavior. They looked at the resources people use to get to their purchase. The most important resource: search. Off course .

Again proof of what a good source the Cowboys and Cowgirls are. Two postings (you can’t call them articles ) with reference to these sites. Now its the Dutch Cowgirls‘ turn. Through that site I found this picture. This map is based on a subway-map and gives a great view of the curren internet Web Trends. And then especially all the different companies that play a big role. Very nice to look at and to get the big picture

The series SEO Roadshow on Dutch Cowboys is increasingly beginning to take shape. The third interview has now been put online. This time with Avinash Kaushik. This very intriging man was interviewed by Joost and the podcast can be listened to at Dutch Cowboys.

Kaushik is amongst others writer of the book ‘Web Analytics: An Hour A Day’, a must for anyone working professionally on a website.

In his role as’ Analytics Evangelist "at Google he travels around the world to discuss webanalytics. He is therefore a welcome speaker.

Yesterday we started a unique series on Dutch Cowboys . It is a series of interviews with key people from the search industry. The interviews will be posted as podcasts, text or video. Because it is a list with some impressive (search) names a unique file will get compiled.

It is an initiative of Joost de Valk (OnetoMarket), Eduard Blacquière (Outrider) and myself. Together we have the contacts, the knowledge and the questions and we can make the interviews a success.

In the coming months interviews with Kevin Ryan (organiser SES), Dennis Mortensen (Indextools), Danny Sullivan (SearchEngineLand) and Matt Cutts (Google) will be posted. They will inform us about their vision for the searchmarkt.

The series has been kicked off with Kevin Ryan who this month was shortly in the Netherlands. Kevin Ryan is the global content director for Search Engine Strategies (SES) and Search Engine Watch. In that role Ryan is responsible for organising the various Search Engine Strategies seminars and the contents of the Web site Search Engine Watch.
