Today is a day filled with events. In Amsterdam, the iLounge of the DDMA takes place, in the Hague tonight the Dutch Bloggies. Also in Amsterdam you can find the SpinAwards Inspiration Days and finally in Brussels the Plugg conference.

I will will be present at the first two events. The other two, unfortunately, I have to miss out on. Do you want to follow Plugg however, I gladly refer you to the website of Maarten Schenk, who is trying to live stream the conference as much as possible.

I will try to stream also. The DDMA iLounge is, if possible, streamed through either Yahoo Live or UStream TV. That will happen on the livestream page of this blog. On that page you can also find the direct broadcast of the Dutch Bloggies tonight, facilitated by the NOS!

Last Friday night I was in my car back of my ski vacation. At that moment, the Dutch Cowboys – drink in De Jaren in Amsterdam took place. Unfortunately I had to miss it. Fortunately Vincent Everts was there. He interviewed some bloggers from Dutch Cowboys. Very nice to watch!

[lang_nl]Volgende week bezoek ik de Search Engine Strategies in Londen. Het is een congres wat al een aantal jaar op mijn verlanglijstje staat. De SMX staat daar overigens ook heel hoog, maar dat lukte nu niet. Het mooiste zou zijn ooit op deze congressen te kunnen spreken. Ik hoop dat dat door mijn huidige plannen (binnenkort daarover meer) gaat lukken.

Op de SES wil ik uiteraard een aantal interessante sessies bezoeken. Zo staan op dinsdag de sessies “Local Search 2.0”, “Search Around the World – Part Two: Europe and the Americas” en “Orion Panel: Universal, Blended and Vertical Search” op mijn lijstje. [/lang_nl][lang_en]Next week I will visit the Search Engine Strategies in London. It is a conference which I wanted to attended for a couple of years already. The SMX-show is also very high on my list, but I couldn’t make it to that one this time. It would be great to someday be a speaker at one of these conferences. I hope that my current plans (more on this shortly) will succeed and help accomplish this.

Vandaag is het Search Engine Marketing congres Speld in Hooiberg. Dit jaarlijks terugkerend event geeft altijd een goed inzicht in de staat van de zoekmachinemarkt in Nederland. Je kan er zelfs nog wat van opsteken.

Helaas kon ik zelf deze keer niet aanwezig zijn, maar de thuisblijver hoeft niet te treuren. De diverse aanwezige twitteraars en bloggers zorgen voor voldoende verslag.

Het is een ouderwets spelletje “en nu jij” waar ik in verzeild geraakt ben. Maar wel een leuk spelletje. Via het weblog van Dutchcowgirl en verwoed twitteraarster Marjolijn kreeg ik een van de stokjes overhandigd met de vraag op te schrijven waarvan ik heb genoten in 2007. Zij had het stokje weer gekregen van Marco Derksen.

Natuurlijk wil ik dat! Hier zijn ze dan, vijf dingen waar ik in 2007 van genoten heb. Ik heb ze onderverdeeld in een vijftal categorieen.
