Silent video explanation

There are more and more videos on the Web that give explanations about the functioning of a product or service or as aen even promotion for example. The video below is a combination of explanation and promotion. It revolves around the search event SMX Advanced. Organizer Danny Sullivan, a search-greatness, has been interviewed. It is however an interview in a very different style than we are accustomed. There has been chosen for the format of the ‘silent movie. " Very funny and done a good way "to get noticed" between all those other videos. Whether the message comes across really well however, has to be seen.

YouTube Annotations: new possibilities

With YouTube you can go in many directions when it comes to Internet marketing. Today, YouTube launched a new feature that you can help you even more: Annotations. This allows you to add written text to videos. Baloons, mouse overs, you name it. You can ‘pimp’ your video even more with additional information. The video below explains what and how you do it. On a special YouTube page you can find even more information.

The only bummer is that you can only post ‘internal links to YouTube pages. So no links (yet?) to, for example, your own website.

As I have previously written one of the most interesting speakers at The Next Web. Go and take your time for this one, because it is an interesting but possibly also sometimes complicated story. But certainly worth viewing.

The Next Web conferenceIt feels like The Next Web conference was organized centuries ago. Nevertheless, the conference still keeps getting my attention. Because I sometimes speak with organizers or participants and because the weblog of The Next Web is releasing videos of the speakers one by one.

A few of them, which I think are worth it, I will post here. To begin with the presentation of Khris Loux. I talked to the founder of JS-Kit, which focuses on the provision of widgets that are easy to implement on your web site, several times during the congress. Not just a smart guy, but also a very nice guy. Enjoy his presentation!
